EVERYTHING GOES THROUGH VISION:
LEARNING, HOBBIES AND WORK
In children: Effective learning starts with a good vision. Healthy eyes are thus essential to succeed at school. All children should have an eye examination before starting school, i.e. between the ages of 3 and 5. If you have any doubts about your child’s vision, the first examination can take place before that of course. We pay attention to vision of colours, depth perception and ocular motility in children.
Did you know that eye examinations are covered by the Régie de l’assurance maladie for children aged 0-17 inclusively?
In adults: A good vision is important for your eyes’ comfort, to avoid headaches and to avoid painful and tearful eyes. An eye examination is recommended every year. We can recommend the correction best adapted to your needs: progressive lenses, computer glasses, reading glasses, sunglasses, or even contact lenses.
In people aged 65 and over: An annual follow-up of your oculo-visual condition is very important. An eye examination is essential to make sure you maintain a healthy vision to accomplish all your daily tasks. Screening for cataracts, glaucoma, muscle degeneration and diabetes is essential to your well-being.
Eye examinations for people over 65 are also covered by the Régie de l’assurance maladie.
For sports, outings or for daily wear, we can also equip you with contact lenses: simple vision, toric or multifocal. For a one-time use (1 day), biweekly or monthly, for astigmatism or presbyopia.
We can fill out all forms: the SAAQ driver’s license form, hiring forms or for visual requirements by an employer.
We have a laboratory to edge and mount lenses on site for a quick service.
